The author
Vicent Marçà (Castelló de la Plana, 1954-2004), from his first book, Viatge a l’interior (1995), has published books with most Valencian publishers uninterruptedly. He has written short stories as well as children and teen literature. His works with Edicions Bromera include Jordi Túrmix, aprenent de pirata and La història de Vilafartera. His narratives exhibit an exuberant fantasy, a keen style and an intentional use of the creative power of language. With La fada masovera he won Vicent Silvestre VI Children Narrative Prize.
